Thunder Hot is a mix of retro style and futuristic landscape, with few background details except a strange landscape with a computer-generated sunrise in the distance. The game screen is still overwhelmingly dark, with the many reel sets, command buttons and other displays sticking out in bright neon lights.

As a result, Thunder Hot is clearly not the most impressive slot game there is in terms of graphics alone. Retro slots can still have a certain charm for old-school players, but we still thought that Thunder Hot was a little too plain overall.
