Frozen Bingo Review
Do you wanna build a snowman? Or ride a bike around the hall? Sorry, but you now have that song from Frozen – not “Let it Go”; the other song – stuck in your head. It was inevitable really. You can’t visit a site like Frozen Bingo without immediately envisaging the other Frozen with Anna and Elsa and those songs and that snowman. Regardless of whether or not Frozen Bingo drew its influences from the Disney flick or is in fact a wholly original creation, it deploys a similar cartoon style.
Given the uncanny resemblance of the site’s logo to that of the film and the anthropomorphic snowman that dominates the homepage, you can draw your own conclusions about who’s borrowing from whom. Promising the coolest bonuses on the web (naturally) Frozen Bingo offers all kinds of incentives for signing up including bonus matches and free spins. While ostensibly a bingo website, there are slots here too plus a few scratch and table games.
About Frozen Bingo
Frozen Bingo is operated by Cassava Enterprises Limited, an experienced gaming operator who are registered in Gibraltar. They’re owned by the 888 group, and in fact it’s 888 UK Limited to are responsible for the site’s UK operations. They hold the required gaming license issued by the Great Britain Gambling Commission. Virtual Digital Services are responsible for the site’s operations within the European Union.
Just to throw a few more companies into the mix, there’s Brigend Limited, who provide the software that powers the bingo games on the site, and then there’s Mandalay Media Limited who take care of the site’s day to day operations. They too are based in the Isle of Man. If you need to get hold of a customer service rep, Frozen Bingo provides email, live chat and freephone contact details.
The deposit options that are available to you once you’ve signed up at Frozen Bingo include the ability to make card payment by phone. The site accepts Visa and MasterCard. Alternatively, you can make card payment online using the secure payments page that’s accessible when you log in. Frozen Bingo state Visa as being their preferred card payment method, but you’re still entitled to use MasterCard or Maestro.
There are a few alternative choices as well such as Paysafecard, PayPal, Neteller and wire transfer. As is often the case with online casinos, you’ll be tasked with submitting identification documents before you can complete your first withdrawal. The minimum withdrawal amount is £30 and there’s a two-day wait before your request will be processed.
Bonuses are Familiar
If you’ve ever played at another Cassava Enterprises site – and if you’re fond of bingo there’s a good chance you have, given their ubiquity – you’ll be familiar with the welcome bonuses. These rarely change between Cassava Enterprises sites and start with a 300% welcome bonus when you deposit between £5 and £20. This is followed with a 150% second deposit bonus when you deposit up to £100 and completed by a 100% third deposit bonus, again for a maximum deposit of £100.
Those are the bonuses available to new players at Frozen Bingo, but there are also promotions that are geared around the bingo games the site hosts. For example, 1p Penguins is a series of bingo games that cost just a penny to enter but have a top prize of £50 at stake for 90-ball games. Similarly the 5p and 10p Penguins are games that are worth a combined total of £1,200 a week. The real money kicks in with the £5K Snow Storm, a Sunday pattern bingo game with a jackpot that starts at £500 and grows from there up to a maximum £5,000.
|First Deposit||£20||300%||4x (Bingo)||Claim Bonus|
|Second Deposit||£100||150%||4x (Bingo)||Claim Bonus|
|Third Deposit||£100||100%||4x (Bingo)||Claim Bonus|
Range of Bingo
Frozen Bingo offers a range of bingo, both in terms of game time and prize value. When it comes to game type, there’s 75-ball, 90-ball and 5-line bingo available, the latter being a variant of 75-ball bingo. Tickets – or cards as they’re also referred to – can cost as little as 1p and you can buy multiple tickets for a single game. The free bingo games, which are in operation daily, operate all around the clock and there’s cash to be won in them, despite the fact that they’re free to enter. The only condition is that you need to have made a deposit in the past week.
Then there are the guaranteed jackpot games, which is where the real money kicks in. Frozen Bingo has seven such games in total, all given thematically appropriate names such as Frosty Fortune, Money Mountain, Cash Blizzard and Wonga Whiteout.
The latter game, for example, is hosted every Sunday at 10pm and comes with a £500 cash jackpot. Its value is dwarfed by that of Money Mountain, which dispenses prizes totalling £2,500 on Saturday nights. Monday and Wednesday night’s big games also have a £2.5K jackpot prize. Dancing Diamonds, meanwhile, doesn’t have a cash prize, instead rewarding players with 500,000 of diamonds which can later be exchanged as part of the site’s rewards scheme.
Frozen Bingo’s VIP scheme has five tiers, with players starting off at Blue level before climbing to Bronze, Silver, Gold and finally Platinum. To reach the uppermost tier, you’ll need to have deposited in excess of £5,000. The perks that VIP members can look forward to include free spins, deposit bonuses, real cash and the occasional tangible gift.
There’s a proper little casino to be found at Frozen Bingo that’s stocked with a wide range of games. It naturally can’t compete with the quality and quantity of games to be found at stand-alone casinos, but it’s nevertheless a capable casino. Slots dominate including Cassava Enterprises’ go-to games such as Piggy Payout, Cleopatra, Sugar Train and Shaman’s Dream. In total, there are over 100 slots to play including progressive jackpot slots that have three jackpots apiece, a mini, maxi and mega.
The site doesn’t fare so well when it comes to table games, with just European Roulette, but there are mini games at least such as Enchanted Prince, Jewel Journey, Hollywood Stars and White Wizard. These are ideal for playing between bingo games as win or lose it doesn’t take long at all to determine your fate.
Frozen Bingo is a fine site to play at provided you aren’t already sick to death of the movie of the same name, in which case Frozen Bingo may well cause you PTSD and should be avoided at all costs. Provided you’re not allergic to the sight of Olaf the snowman however you should get on just fine. After all, the bingo games and promotions are perfectly acceptable here, even if they’re no different to the ones you’ll find at countless other sites.
Whether you’re into 90-ball, 75-ball or 5-line bingo, there are games galore here with tickets that are reasonably priced and jackpots that are extremely high in many cases, especially on weekends. There’s more than enough bingo here to keep the average aficionado happy, while the slots and instant games provide light relief from the bingo side of the site.
