The new 2022 NFL season is just around the corner as September is here. The NJ sports betting scene, especially at Atlantic City casinos, has more than enough quality options to watch football games every week.

Overall, there are nine different AC casinos that all feature a land-based sportsbook to take full advantage of. For the second consecutive year, bettors can put action down on their favorite NFL teams at any establishment in AC.

The season gets underway with the defending Super Bowl champs in the Los Angeles Rams taking on the powerful Buffalo Bills in the Thursday night opener. With that opening kick set for Sept. 8 and the first full NFL Sunday scheduled for Sept. 11, let’s examine all of the best spots to watch the NFL this season.

How to watch the NFL in Atlantic City

The start of the NFL season is an important one for NJ sportsbooks. The league always generates more betting action than any other, as retail and online sports betting apps accept lots of wagers on a variety of markets.

Here is the list of all of the active brick-and-mortar sportsbooks located inside each of the Atlantic City casinos, along with what you need to know about each for watching games and betting on the NFL this year. It should be noted that guests might need to make reservations to guarantee a spot for NFL Sundays, and the majority of other nights with NFL contests.

FanDuel Sportsbook at Bally’s Atlantic City

The FanDuel Sportsbook at Bally’s Atlantic City is a great place to start. NFL fans can enter the book by the northern Boardwalk casino entrance.

Once inside, bettors can see two massive LED video walls, along with several betting kiosks. The FanDuel location features an even better view of the football action, through its 25-foot-wide LED video wall.

The 10-foot-wide walls aren’t bad, either. They include 10 different video displays so you have the ability to watch any and every game.

FanDuel Sportsbook at Bally’s comes equipped with five betting windows and 20 IGT PlaySports self-serve stations.

BetMGM Sportsbook & Bar at Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa

Another amazing option is at the BetMGM Sportsbook inside of Atlantic City’s Borgata. Formerly known as the Moneyline Bar and Book, the BetMGM area consists of 8,000 square feet, with a variety of seating options.

It includes bar seating, high-top tables with self-charging stations, sizable booths, as well as banquette seating in the VIP lounge. All provide a great view of the 40-foot-wide LED video wall. The space also offers a full service food and beverage menu.

Bettors who want to put some action on the NFL have six different betting windows available.

Those who get to Borgata’s sportsbook early can also enjoy some added entertainment. Throughout the NFL season, BetMGM Sportsbook is hosting live broadcasts with former NFL GM Michael Lombardi every Saturday and Sunday. This begins on Sept. 10 and goes through the entire year.

Caesars Sportsbook at Wild Wild West Casino

If Borgata’s space isn’t quite big enough for your liking, you can make your way over to the Caesars Sportsbook at Caesars Atlantic City. Its retail book at Wild Wild West showcases more than 15,000 square feet, with more TVs than you need.

Caesars even gives its guests the option of securing a fan cave for gamedays this fall. There are five private fan caves that can hold reservations for 16 to 24 people.

Each room features high-resolution TV displays that split into three different screens if you prefer. They also supply an Xbox gaming console, along with table and food service.

The Sportsbook at Golden Nugget Atlantic City

The Sportsbook located at Atlantic City’s Golden Nugget is a solid choice, as well. Positioned just off the main atrium, The Sportsbook highlights your NFL Sunday with lots of ways to catch all your favorite players.

It contains over 50 TVs and five video walls posted all around the various seating arrangements. With multiple self-service betting kiosks in place, placing wagers is a simple process.

Since The Sportsbook is smaller than several of the other AC options, it’s recommended to reserve your seat early. On a side note, Golden Nugget offers free self-parking.

Hard Rock Sportsbook at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Atlantic City

NFL fans can enjoy their Sundays at the Hard Rock Sportsbook at the Hard Rock Atlantic City. You can find its book at the north end of its casino, across from the Sugar Factory.

Hard Rock offers six betting kiosks for wagering at any point in the day or night. They’re open 24 hours a day.

Of course, its sportsbook is comprised with a new bar, complete with more than 40 TVs for an optimal viewing experience.

If your bets aren’t going well or the NFL isn’t exactly your thing, Hard Rock has you covered. Its sportsbook also includes a video poker bar with several different gaming options attached.

Caesars Sportsbook at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City

Those near the area can enjoy a slightly different Caesars Sportsbook at Harrah’s Atlantic City. This 3,800-square-foot book is of course much smaller than the one at Caesars, but that doesn’t diminish it in any way.

Harrah’s alternative features incredible plush seating for 50 guests parked in front of LED TVs spanning the walls. It’s located right near the main casino floor, right by McCormick and Schmick’s.

The best part of the sportsbook is the ability to lock in seating at a fan cave. Just like the main Caesars Sportsbook, an upgraded experience is available here for up to 10 people.

Harrah’s guests can take advantage of another option at the hotel, with Sundays at The Pool. With its NFL Sunday Series: Sunday Splash Kick Off, you can watch all of the NFL games in the comfort of 82 degrees.

Gamedays showcase live DJs, games, and giveaways, on top of poolside food, drinks, and football. The first event debuts Sunday, Sept. 11, at noon.

The Gallery Bar, Book and Games at Ocean Casino Resort

Ocean Casino Resort patrons can enjoy one of the newer environments to watch every NFL tilt in Atlantic City. The Gallery, which just opened this summer, has everything you need for your NFL viewing desires.

The Gallery Bar, Book, and Games consists of a 100-foot elevated bar and lounge area, where VIP experiences are available. It seats 59 guests inside of the 12,000-square-foot venue altogether. In addition to a few gaming options like 12 slot machines, blackjack, and roulette tables, The Gallery’s 140-foot-wide LED walls provide a great look for sporting events.

The area has two betting windows for those wagering on the NFL.

DraftKings Sportsbook at Resorts Casino Hotel

The Resorts Casino Hotel is in the mix for NFL Sunday destinations with its DraftKings Sportsbook. The 5,000-square-foot area is perfect for watching football, with multiple LED video walls, including one that covers 15 feet.

There is absolutely no shortage of betting availability, either. Those looking to place a wager can utilize five betting windows, in addition to 18 self-serve stations.

For special occasions, guests take in the day of sports action from a VIP seating area with bottle service.

Caesars Sportsbook at Tropicana Atlantic City

The Tropicana Atlantic City is also equipped to handle weekends this fall with its Caesars Sportsbook. This location is bigger than the retail book at Harrah’s, but not quite on the same size level as the one at Caesars.

Still, there’s plenty of space to enjoy all of the NFL games, with lots of various seating options around the place. It’s positioned on the north tower casino floor, next to Chickie’s and Pete’s and 10 North Lounge.

Bettors can enjoy watching sizable panoramic LED screens, while keeping up with the updated odds. This Caesars Sportsbook contains an impressive 250-square-foot odds board that keeps everyone current on scores, stats, and betting lines.
