It’s looking like Bobby Flay isn’t the only celebrity chef opening a fast-casual concept at Harrah’s Resort AC this summer. Caesars Entertainment sent out a Wednesday press release announcing Guy Fieri’s Chicken Guy is coming later this month.

The Chicken Guy is scheduled for an Aug. 30th opening, and it will be situated adjacent to Pin-Up Pizza, across from The Pool and near Bobby’s Burgers.

Fieri is no stranger to the Caesars Entertainment family, especially on the AC casino scene. Guy Fieri’s Chophouse opened at Bally’s AC when the property was owned by Caesars. Plus it seems Fieri also really likes being part of the booming AC food scene.

“Everybody knows by now that I love AC and am always up for bringing my latest and greatest to the Jersey Shore. Chicken Guy! is all about the best freakin’ chicken tenders, sandwiches and shakes that you’re gonna find anywhere and I’m stoked to bring it to Harrah’s Resort,” Fieri said.

Caesars Entertainment continues adding to AC foodie scene

Caesars Entertainment is extremely busy updating its restaurant offerings at all three of its Atlantic City properties, Bobby’s Burgers, which will be located in the former Waterfront Buffet space, should be opening sometime this month. The Harrah’s AC website still has a “coming summer 2022 message.”

Over at Tropicana AC, the modern Japanese tavern Ossu opened last week. Wild Honey Smokehouse and Tavern is another 2022 new edition.

Of course there is even more excitement regarding what’s coming soon to Caesars AC as Hell’s Kitchen from celebrity chef and TV personality Gordon Ramsey also is penciled in for a summer debut. The company is putting the finishing touches on Nobu, the high-end Japanese restaurant from chef Nobu Matsuhisa, actor Robert De Niro, and film producer Meir Teper.

And with the Chicken Guy, Harrah’s will be home to its first Northeast location.

“A visit to Atlantic City, particularly during the summer, is action-packed with excitement and we’ve found that our guests want good food – fast. Chicken Guy will be a great addition to our dining portfolio at Harrah’s Resort and will be perfectly situated in the center of the action near our world-class Waterfront Conference Center, hotel towers, and The Pool at Harrah’s Resort,”  John Koster, Regional President for Caesars Entertainment’s Eastern Division, said.

What’s on Guy Fieri’s Chicken Guy menu?

Since New Jersey doesn’t have any other Chicken Guy spots, people are probably wondering what will be on the menu. Obviously, there will be plenty of chicken. The all-natural fresh chicken tenders, hand-pounded to maximize crunch are one of the more popular items. They are brined in fresh lemon juice, pickle brine, buttermilk, and infused with fresh herbs.

Of course there is much more:

  • 22 signature sauces
  • Chicken Guy fries with Guy’s special fry seasoning
  • Mac Daddy Mac ‘n Cheese
  • Fried pickles
  • Fresh slaw

For those who like topping off the meal with dessert, the triple double ice cream treat complete with Oreo cookies, chocolate mints and chocolate syrup toppings. Or if cereal is more your thing consider the cinnamon apple. This one includes a “heaping cup” of vanilla soft serve ice cream smothered in Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Apple Jacks.
