Tropicana online casino move

There is a very good reason Tropicana online casino players having trouble reaching the site via Web browser today.

It’s down.

The deal with platform provider Gamesys Limited is officially done.

The changeover to the Light & Wonder software (formerly known as Scientific Games) is underway.

And as a result, CaesarsCasino.com (not to be confused with Caesars Sportsbook & Casino)  will be unavailable at some point Tuesday into Wednesday.

Here is a rundown of what NJ online gamblers need to know about.

What is happening to CaesarsCasino.com platform?

CaesarsCasino.com players likely received an “important announcement” email Monday.

The bottom line is NJ online gamblers “will not be able to access the site in any way.” The email also makes players aware additional emails will follow:

We will send another email before the site goes down, and another after we come back online.

How this impacts Tropicana online casino players

Tropicana online casino players are probably wondering what’s next.

The Caesars Casino app will once again be available for download once the maintenance is complete.

This is the platform Tropicana players will be using.

However, the Tropicana name is not heading to the NJ online casino graveyard.

Later this summer, Caesars Casino will become a Tropicana branded app.

The date is TBD.

There is no need to stick with the Caesars name since it remains active via the previously mentioned app.

If you didn’t see the Tropicana online casino email, here is what players should know:

  • Tropicana online balance and history will be added to existing Caesars Casino accounts.
  • The new platform will host a copy of historical customer records and account history.
  • No action is required to transfer balance or account history.
  • All personal data will remain under the protection of Caesars Interactive Entertainment New Jersey.

The customer support team is available to answer additional questions. They can be reached via live chat or by calling 844-737-7615.

Another option is checking out the Tropicana migration FAQs page on the Caesars site.
