Every once in a while, a BetMGM online casino player experiences a “life changing” moment.
Hector (BetMGM does not share last names) is the newest NJ online casino player to make the list. He won $2.8 million playing Bison Fury, an exclusive BetMGM slot. Call it the latest “colossal jackpot” from BetMGM.
Since Nov. 21, BetMGM has paid out three colossal jackpots, each over $2.2 million.
However, April 2022 is Hector’s moment.
“To say this is is life changing would be an understatement! I want to thank BetMGM for this blessing that will help jump start many opportunities,” said Hector, via press release.
Latest colossal jackpot is biggest of 2022, so far
When it comes to BetMGM here in the Garden State, it’s one of three brands that fall under the corporate umbrella.
Borgata casino casino and PartyCasino are the others.
And all three include the 19 slot titles that are part of BetMGM’s colossal jackpot network. MGM Grand Millions and Mirage Mega Magma are a couple of others.
It just so happens April was a pretty big month for the company which also debuted north of the border, more specifically Ontario, Canada. And like here in New Jersey, one player celebrated with a very nice payout.
Matthew Sunderland, vice president of gaming, BetMGM explains.
“Just last [month] a player in Ontario, our newest regulated market, won our first major jackpot prize. [Last] week, Hector, from our most mature market, won our largest 2022 jackpot prize to date” said Sunderland. “Truly a great time for BetMGM players across North America!”
Overall, BetMGM has now provided more than $15.8M in exclusive, in-house jackpot payouts since April 2021.
And two other jackpot winners hail from NJ.
In Nov. 2021, a Borgata online player named Dori B. hit a record $3.5 million jackpot playing MGM Grand Millions. One month later, Aimee H., another Borgata online casino player, hit a $2.2 million jackpot playing Bison Fury.
BetMGM brands force behind Borgata Internet gaming revenue
Sure, handing out life-changing jackpots is nice. So is being the market leader when it comes to NJ online casino revenue.
For March, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa once again took the No. 1 spot on the NJ online casino revenue chart. More importantly, the MGM-owned property cracked $40 million in monthly revenue, an industry first.
Besides the three BetMGM brands, Pala and Scores online casinos also fall under the license. Unlike neighboring Pennsylvania, the state doesn’t break down the numbers by individual operators.
Year to date, Borgata and its online partners have earned over $118 million, which doesn’t include April numbers. Golden Nugget Online Gaming is second with over $109 million.
As far as when the next BetMGM colossal jackpot will hit, that’s a matter of very good timing and luck.
