New Jersey online poker players have some tournament options in March. BetMGM is showcasing the March Mania Festival from Mar. 20-27.
Poker players in New Jersey will be able to jump in 19 events hosted by the BetMGM/Partypoker network. Prize pools worth $497,000 will be guaranteed for the March events. Buy-ins range from $55 to $1,060.
One thing that is unique about this event is renowned poker personalities Darren Elias, Matt Berkey and Andrew Neeme will emcee this omni-channel festival. Since Elias is from the Garden State, he will host the NJ event.

Players physically located in the New Jersey boundaries can access the series through three different poker skins. All three sites share the same player pool:

March Mania Poker joins the Madness
The main event for NJ online poker players begins Mar. 27. The $1,060 buy-in event comes with an impressive $100,000 guaranteed prize pool.
No-limit hold ’em will be the main tournament in this series with a few Omaha events added in as well. Other highlights include:
- $535 NLH Eight-Max Warmup (Event 1, Mar. 20), $50,000 guaranteed
- $109 Progressive Knockout (Event 2, Mar. 20), $35,000 guaranteed
- $215 Pot-Limit Omaha (Event 6, Mar. 20), $15,000 guaranteed
- $535 NLH Eight-Max (Event 18, Mar. 27), $75,000 guaranteed

March heads up brackets
One of the exclusive events in the series is a Heads Up tournament. The $1,000 March Mania Heads-Up Bracket will allow 32 players to go toe-to-toe. Each player will play against each other in a tournament-style event. There is an added $10,000 in value for the Heads Up Champion.
Poker pro joins in the action
One player heading into the action in New Jersey is Elias. He currently holds the record for most WPT wins, final tables, and cashes.
“As partypoker US Network continues to expand, I’m excited to grow with them and bring accessible, championship-level online poker to players across the US,” Elias said.
According to a press release from BetMGM, Elias is going to be making a live appearance in the Garden State as well.
Elias will be making a March 24 appearance at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City. The BetMGM Poker brand ambassador is hosting a meet-up inside the BetMGM Sportsbook. The following day he will host the live Spring Rebound Poker Tournament by BetMGM and Borgata Poker. It includes a $1k buy-in, $100k GTD no-limit hold ’em 8-max event.
Daily 10K tournament
During the series, the regular nightly $10,000 guaranteed tournament will also run daily and is available for players in New Jersey. The event has a 7 p.m. start time with a $109 buy-in and 50,000 in starting chips.
Re-entries are allowed until the end of Level 15
If these events are a little high, the online site will host multiple daily satellites to get into these events for as little as $2.
These events will also be available in Pennsylvania and Michigan. Guarantees may differ.
