When playing Deuces Wild video poker, drawing three 2s is a guaranteed winning hand. At Bally’s Atlantic City, the number 222 is a pretty big deal too, especially on Feb. 22, 2022.

For those thinking it relates to a February slot tournament, guess again.

Having 222 renovated hotel rooms completed as of Feb. 22, 2022, is the highlight of Bally’s press release.

Yes, 222 is what casino players consider a lucky number. Having 222 completed hotel rooms marks a significant milestone in Bally’s AC $100-million transformation.

The Bally’s Tower includes 750 rooms, all of which are being upgraded. The building featuring rose-colored windows is noticeable as guests arrive via the Atlantic City Expressway.

Here is a look at where things stand overall at Bally’s Atlantic City.

Hotel rooms and suites at Bally’s Atlantic City

Bally’s, sitting at Park Place and The Boardwalk,  has picturesque views of the Atlantic Ocean and beach. So it makes sense that the new hotel rooms are designed with a “fresh relaxed summertime feel.”

Besides a “lighter and brighter feel,” the rooms feature new flooring with carpet inlays. The tiled bathrooms are designed with modern vanities and illuminated mirrors along with all-new showers.

112 corner king rooms located in the Bally’s Tower are junior suites. The highlight of these spaces is the separate sitting area with a settee, lounge chair, and coffee table.  Bathrooms will provide guests “a spa-like experience” with a separate shower and freestanding deep soak tub.

Then there are the penthouse suites located on the 45th-48th floors. Bally’s is in the process of combining a select number of rooms to create 16 new penthouse-style suites. And the new suite designs are being described as “best-in-class” and will include:

  • Dining areas
  • Pool tables
  • Wet bars
  • Custom rainfall showers

Bally’s will be using these exclusive rooms to pamper VIP guests.

222 renovated rooms are the latest new addition

When visiting Bally’s Atlantic City, new and returning guests will notice new amenities. However, many more upgrades and additions are still to come.

Just last week, PlayNJ shared the news regarding the new indoor/outdoor entertainment concept under construction in the courtyard space. Other projects on the 2022 to-do list include a new lobby area, redesigned bar included.

Of course, it’s hard to ignore the completed projects currently available, including

  • FanDuel Sportsbook lounge
  • High limit table games area
  • Jerry Longo’s Meatballs & Martinis
  • Water Dog

Plus, we can’t forget about the recent New Jersey launch of Bally’s online casino.
