- Make the wager, which will show up as a free bet on your bet slip and in your betting history.
The amount of the free bet can be significant. A $10 bet may encourage someone to take a high flier, perhaps a multi-legged parlay.
A $50 freebie brings even more considerations into play. Place it on any 2-1 shot, for example, and one has obtained $100.
The free bet can be used for futures, too, which comes just in time for the NFL betting championship season. Perhaps one wouldn’t chase the Green Bay Packers or Kansas City Chiefs, the favored NFC and AFC conference winners in the 2-1 range.
But with a gift like a free bet, some will make the stab.
