For the second time in as many months, a Borgata online casino player won more than one million dollars.
The New Jersey player, identified as Aimee H., won the $2.2 million “Colossal Jackpot,” BetMGM announced Tuesday. The big win came playing the exclusive Bison Fury slots title.
This is the second time since Thanksgiving the jackpot has been won by a New Jersey online casino player.
Including the most recent jackpot, BetMGM has paid out more than $13 million in the last 12 months, the company said.

Aimee said her “dreams have come true,” in a news release announcing the big win.
“My life has changed forever. Playing slots online was just a fun way to pass time,” she said. “I never thought I would become a millionaire in my own living room.”

BetMGM and Borgata online casinos are two of the skins operating under the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa license.
Through the first 11 months of 2021, Borgata is the online casino market leader in NJ. Collectively, its skins have reported more than $375 million in revenue.
Golden Nugget Online Gaming is second with $343 million.
New Jersey online casino jackpots in 2021
On Nov. 28, Borgata Online Casino awarded the largest jackpot in U.S. history.
The $3.5 million jackpot was won playing the popular MGM Grand Millions.
Like Bison Fury, the slot title is part of BetMGM’s progressive jackpot network, which also includes the PartyCasino brand. It’s made up of more than 25 exclusive jackpot games. Mirage Mega Magma is one of the other titles.
In October, a New Jersey online casino player hit a bet slot jackpot for nearly $1 million, according to a news release. A BetMGM Casino player from Gloucester City won $932,149.72 on “IGT MegaJackpots Wheel of Fortune On Air.”
