A Borgata online casino player in New Jersey won a record $3.5 million after playing the exclusive MGM Grand Millions slot title, according to a press release.
The BetMGM-awarded prize on Nov. 28 became the largest online jackpot payout in the nation’s history, surpassing a $3.2 million BetMGM prize awarded in 2020.
Dori B., the latest Colossal Jackpot winner, noticed the big prize exceeded $3.5 million. So she started playing the MGM Grand Millions slot because “I just knew it had to hit soon.”
“I thought ‘someone is going to hit it, maybe it could be me.’ On the night I won, all it took was a $10 spin. One second later, I became a millionaire – thanks to BetMGM – and my life has changed forever,” said Dori B.
“I’m a program manager so I see things in phases,” the winner added. “My next phase – filled with family vacations and volunteer work – starts now. My dream of becoming a mega jackpot winner has come true!”
