The Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas has become an iconic part of that landscape due to its fountains. The creators of a new online slot game, Bellagio Fountains of Fortune, hope that the title will gain similar prestige among New Jersey online casino players.
The new game is now available in NJ on BetMGM Casino, Borgata Casino, and Partypoker NJ. It both augments the selection of exclusive titles and represents a first for online gambling in the Garden State.
The lowdown on Bellagio Fountains of Fortune
The game’s aesthetics feature the hotels and its fountains, but that isn’t all that makes the title special.
“Bellagio Fountains of Fortune marks the first game BetMGM has built in complete collaboration with both of our parent companies: Entain and MGM Resorts. We set out to replicate world-class slots experience through game icons, bespoke musical score, bonus features, and functionality and have achieved that goal,” said Matthew Sunderland, vice president of gaming, BetMGM. “We expect that our players will fully embrace this incredible addition to the industry’s strongest gaming portfolio.”
While this might be the first BetMGM game that Entain and MGM Resorts jointly worked on, it isn’t BetMGM’s only exclusive title. Between slots and table games, BetMGM offers players more than 40 choices they can’t get anywhere else. Those include:
- Bison Fury
- Borgata Cash Spinner
- MGM Grand Millions
BetMGM says that 71% of its active customers have played at least one of its exclusive games. The variety and volume of titles you can only play across BetMGM’s verticals could help it maintain its leadership in NJ.
BetMGM trying to pad its stats
Last month, online casinos in NJ reported over $107 million in revenue. BetMGM again led the pack, collecting nearly a third of that win. June was the fifth month so far this year that total online casino revenue in the state surpassed $100 million.
With that much at stake, it’s no mystery that content studios continue to churn out new products. Also this year, DraftKings Casino has debuted an exclusive craps title and an exclusive blackjack variant in NJ as well, for example.
Given the fierce competition for NJ gamblers’ attention and bankrolls, expect NJ online casinos to continue to crank out new games. BetMGM is leading that market thanks to its constant innovations. In order to stay there, new titles will have to flow to its app like the water in the Bellagio fountains.
